ASVARO is a California non-profit public benefit educational corporation (501(c)(3)) dedicated to supporting amateur radio for education and public service. Located in the Silicon Valley of California,

ASVARO organizes the monthly Electronics Flea Market “swap meet” at West Valley College in Saratoga, California. The markets are generally held on the second Sunday of each month March through September. Be sure to check the schedule for the exact dates and latest information.

We expect a full season of flea makets in 2024. We had our first full season of flea makets (in a few years) in 2023. We were only able to hold one flea market in April 2022 before we were forced to cancel. The location was just to small to accommodate the size of our event. The markets were canceled for 2020 and 2021 due to COVID19. The have been previously held at Fry's Electronics in Sunnyvale (2018-2019), at De Anza College in Cupertino (2006−2018), in Sunnyvale (2004−2005), and at Foothill College in Los Altos (1974-2003).

We typically get around a hundred sellers and a few hundred buyers. Our new location at West Valley College in Saratoga has room for nearly 200 sellers and hundreds of parking spots for buyers, so it should be large enough to accommodate all our participants.

The organizations that participate in the flea markets are active in amateur radio education, emergency communications, and civic support activities.
